My Little Misfit

I cannot believe I have completely stopped taking pictures of my son. Ha-ha if you know me, I am the biggest Mamarazzi is it. Lately I have been so focused on my house and trying to prepare myself for two children. I forgot how fun it was to shoot his days at the park. Well, today I will share Tristan's outfit of the day.

Stripe Sunny Day

 It was a sunny day here so my little family went out on the town. First we stopped at the local thrift store to grab some goodies I just could not pass up $5 grab bags. Everything I could fit into my bag for just $5 yes ma'am. After a little shopping, we got lunch with our friends.We also got to take Tristan to the park.

My handyman went to work in style today. We attended one of my friend's baby shower. We can not wait to meet Ms. Piper. He had a ball outside watching everyone chat and play games. Notice that every picture I will post he is in motion hehe. He would not stay in place since he is the master of walking now.

Tristan Got A Makeover At 11 Months

 A bitter sweet day Why? Because my son got his 1st haircut and he is officially one month away from being a big boy. I guess my husband woke up and was like "Okay today I'm going to cut my son's hair." I cried seeing all his hair on the floor. I was against cutting his hair because it's what I thought made him 'him'. I was wrong, seeing that bright smile and those chubby cheeks changed my mind.

The Big 8 Months

 Good Day My Beauties!!! I know it's been awhile since I have posted but I've been on vacation and trying to settle back into my regular schedule. Tristan D. Is finally 8 months and it doesn't even seem like it. We traveled back to the states to visit family. We left Japan when he was 5 months and he did amazing on the plane ride there. I wish I could say the same thing about the plane ride back. He didn't enjoy that one at all. He screamed the whole way because he didn't want to be in my arms. I understand how he felt because we traveled 2 whole days before we made it home. During this trip he picked up on some many new things such as: crawling,walking, clapping, and fighting. Yes FIGHTING!!! If you don't let him have what he wants or take something away from him he will fight you lol.  He started to move around close to 6 months at my mom house then once we made it to my in-laws he was on all fours getting around. Now I have no clue what to do with him. While in the states we got him a cake when he turned 7 months and it was hilarious. He was ready to get his hands on the cake, but hated the icing to be on his hand. He looked at me like "Mommie please get this off." We both got very messy but had a awesome time.  His first word was "Da-Da" then later on he start saying "Bye-Bye." I was very upset because I just knew his second word would be "Ma-Ma", but he is now saying it only when he is mad/crying. I guess I can take that. He is now weighing 16.7lbs and 27 in. long I was shocked to see his weight because he weighed that before we left, but being they he is mobile now I understand. His favorite song is the "Hot-Dog" song it's at the end of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mickey Mouse is his new best friend he pause every times it comes on lol. He is growing so fast I really want him to slow down because I'll have a 1yr old soon. I'm not ready for this.

Tristan's 5 Month Update

 Little Daniel turned 5 months Today. Yay!!! I can sum this month up with one word "Active." He is no longer this calm baby I knew a few weeks ago. He grabs and pulls everything it doesn't matter what it is. We are now at the stage where everything is food lol. No matter what is in his hand, it's a snack for him. He keeps me on my toes I don't think I'm ready for him to crawl. I know it is going to be double the fun.

Happy 3 Months Tristan

 Hello My Beauties!! Time is flying by and my little one is 3 Months. He surprises me everyday with something new. Tristan is no longer this little baby who just stares at you lol now he is starting to talk and coo. He enjoys listening to his dad whistle and watching me act crazy.Lately, Snuggling with his blanket seems to be his favorite thing to do. I'm really enjoying being a stay-at-home mom because I get to see how he progresses socially, cognitively, and physically. Being that I majored in Early Childhood Education in college I have tons of activities we have started and plenty in store as he grows older. We've already attended his 2 month check-up and he has received those painful shots. At his appointment he weighed in at 13lbs and 6oz. As of right now I'm not very sure of his weight but I'm pretty sure he is close to 17lbs. I never understood what mom was talking about when she told me boys are greedy lol I do now. I'm so happy that he is gaining weight but on the other hand he skipped 0-3 months clothes. Soo.... I'm currently re-grouping his wardrobe. Be on the look out for his nursery update and also a DIY project.

Happy One Month

Good Day My Beauties =) I know time is going by so fast... My baby boy is one month today I can't believe it. He has changed so much since September. He no longer looks like me his looks just like his dad. The only thing that comes for me and my side of the family would be his eyes and his lips. Last time he got weighed he was at 8lbs and 9oz and 20in long. I'm pretty sure he is past that now lol he eats none stop. Some of his accomplishment to me would be that he is holding his head up more, he moves his head when he hear our voice, and he also sleeps great during the night. I think he is moving to fast by holding his bottle. =(  I'm not ready for him to be this independent. I have a very spoiled little boy and do not like when we put him down but he is everything I could ask for. I've enjoyed being a mother this past month ready to take on more.

Birth Story

September 23, 2013 at 4:29AM I gave birth to my son Tristan Daniel S. He weighed 7lbs 1oz and 17in long. I went into Labor and Delivery on September 22nd at 3 something that evening. The nurse checked me and my cervix didn't change from the last time. I was very upset being I've been in pre-labor for over 2 weeks and 3cm since 35 weeks. They gave me the option to go walk for an hour and I did the total opposite. My husband took me to the store to get subway and cookies lol. We went to the park down from the hospital and walked (not really).

37 Weeks

Good Day My Beauties Happy 37 weeks to me =^.^= My pregnancy has been bittersweet to me this last month. My mood change quickly, sickness, and contractions. The biggest uplift from all of that was the 3D/4D Scan my husband and I had just a few weeks ago. We got to see everything and this time he was big and so handsome. He wasn't very active the time around he was sleep. It was still a very nice experience to see his facial features and who he takes after. On the other hand I have 2 close calls since last speaking to you all and it was scary.

31 Weeks

31 WEEKS (Update)
Hello everyone It's been awhile since you heard from me and I'm sorry. I've been very busy trying to get everything together for our little bundle of joy. My husband and I both agreed on the name Tristan Daniel. The "T" Is something that's traditional in my family and Daniel is my husband first name. After three months I agreed on the Nautical theme but my husband dislike the idea of having Yellow in his room. So, after three weeks of picking his brain I got him to agree on Dr. Seuss.
